After snatching his hard drive and going over tons of data, I found out that the victim was "MetalCOD". I was also able to figure out what the chats were all about.
The Watchers know everything. They know about fictionals, the 4th wall, everything. They are a group that wants to, as I read it, "Exterminate Humans and create a world where the people of fiction can thrive in one conglomerate universe."
As completely nuts as this plan is, it does explain the recent murders, it could be possible that the people killed are just victims of an organization wanting nothing more than the elimination of things they deem "Pests". Why MetalCOD is dead, is a completely different matter.
From where the chat went, it seems MetalCOD felt sympathy for humans. This angered most of the members of the group and they lambasted him for it. Then the verbal attacks turned into verbal threats, and Metal simply left the room.
With this evidence I can now say that the group is made up of fictionals and that MetalCOD's death was there way of tying up loose ends. One matter I don't understand is, who was MetalCOD? I need your help guys. MetalCOD's true identity could be a driving force in my investigation. I suspect his username is akin to his fictional identity but I can't figure it out nor can I do it alone.
Search everywhere if you can. One of the parts of his name that threw me off is "COD" I don't know what that means. Search up a character who has turned sides before. We can figure this out if we try.

Rorschach's Journal, January 12, 2013 Contin.
I decided to do some digging on the disappearing victim. I found some interesting stuff.
I first began digging into his personal files. How I got them I will not say.
As it turns out, his records are blank before December 29, 2011. There is nothing before that. Absolutely nothing. This is getting extremely suspicious.
I eventually used the address on his files to find his house. After breaking through his house, I found his personal computer and began digging. He had been on "Chatzy" numerous times with many different people of many usernames, the chat was called "The Watchers". I don't know who the Watchers were, but they seemed to be an internet group of some sort. I began recording down the names of the users on the chat.

Mary Cronett, 22 years old, middle-class. Absolutely no pattern between her and the previous victim. I noticed that this girl did not disappear like the previous victim had. I am also starting to think I know why he disappeared.
If a human kills a fictional it can produce drastic consequences to the fabric of reality. What those consequences are, we don't know but they can be drastic. The reason being is that these are two opposing forces gathering and attacking one another, like two magnets opposing one another when you try to put them together.
However, if a fictional were to kill a fictional, I suspect it would produces a simple disappearance. That fictional ceases to exist and it reverts back to where he went in the original book, it counts a a form of "Refictionalization" with drastic consequences. The consequence could be that normal refictionalization *As I understand from my conversation with Eli* involves the character going back to his/her story of fiction. In them dying, it was as if they never came here in the first place. I call it a consequence because I don't like it. Whether we admit it or not, we are killing them. Whether they get refictionalized or not simply does not matter, it is wrong. It's like erasing their memories.

After spending the entire night asking this "Eli" person questions, the truth began to dawn on me.
I am a work of fiction designed by Comic Book artist Alan Moore for an acclaimed Comic Series called "Watchmen". I tried to ask Eli what happened in the comic book but she said she would not divulge that, I think I know why.
All of who I am is fake and yet now I am here and real. If this is the real world, and the world I come from is a world of fiction, the dangers here must be real as well.
Justice isn't simply relegated to those I lived with. Now I must save those here that are in need. I know that now. From what I understand, the fourth wall is closed, so the fact that I am here is a mystery. However, I am aware that soon I will have to go back to where I came from. Until then, I will do what needs to be done.
After that I walked along the streets of Newark in order to ascertain any information on the disappearing victim. As I began walking along the side of the street I heard a girl scream. I immediately ran to the scene, I noticed some peculiar things on this street. There was an old house built *As I can see it* during the Revolutionary War, I saw an old 1950's police box with the door sealed shut, and I noticed an abandoned warehouse probably built during the 1940's.
When I came to the source of the scream I found a dead girl about 20 or more years of age. Blood was drained completely from her body like the last victim and there were two marks on her neck like last time. I attempted to phone the police *As annoyingly incompetent as they are* but the Police Box that I had noticed before was locked and the fact I even tried to use such an outdated thing makes me question my own sanity.
The police got there and started suspecting a serial killer, one of the few times where I agree with them.

This cannot be possible...
My name is Rorschach. I am a hero during the era of The Watchmen during the 70's and 80's. I feel as if now I have no choice but to reveal my identity as I have uncovered something that confuses me.
A comic book, written by a man named Alan Moore called "Watchmen". Seeing the name, I was confused and bought it in order to read it. However, there was nothing to read. The pages were blank, every single one of them. What is going on? The world is spinning in ways I have never seen before. How did I get here? What is this place? And why is there a comic book of my groups name with empty pages?
None of this is making any sense, but I am determined to find answers.

Something is very wrong.
I broke into the morgue last night where the victim's body had been taken. I opened the body bag and began examining the wound. I had noticed that the marks felt similar to canines rather than tools and I suspected that the killer had actually bitten the victim in order to create an opening to drain the blood from his system.
I turned away to get on one of the computers in the room and look at the autopsy records. As I thought, the autopsy clarified that this was not a case of "Partial Embalming". However, the tests were inconclusive as to how the blood left the body.
After I got off the computer I turned back to the body. It was gone. It just disappeared out of thin air, nowhere to be seen. I had not seen him or heard him go and walk away himself and there was no way someone could have broken in without me noticing. I need to figure out what is going on.

The police were wrong. Whether they want to admit it or not. The murderer did not commit an "Almost Embalming", in fact that cannot possibly be related to embalming.
Embalming requires the injection of Formaldehyde while sucking the blood out. That, and the tools used to make the holes in the victims neck have no relation to any modern embalming tool. Something else is going on. Obviously the Police have dubbed the killer "The Funeral Killer" because they refuse to listen to logic and insist that it was partial embalming when this is definitely not true.
This killer has much different tools at his or her disposal. I need to see the body for examination, but getting to see it can be troublesome. I can't let it stop me however, I need to see what happened. I am going to have to break in. How? At the moment I have no clue. I will figure it out however.
